On 10th April, 2010, Luminous Infoways celebrated its 10th (tenth) Foundation Day. This glittering function was graced by many luminaries and guests. Hon’ble Sri D.N Padhi, State Chief Information Commissioner was the Chief Guest and Sri Prafulla Chandra Ghadei, Minister, Finance and Excise, Govt. of Orissa was the Chief Speaker. Sri Deepak Sinha, Project Officer, JAPIT, Jharkhand, was the Guest of Honour. The inaugural speech was delivered by Sri Tanmay Mohanty, CEO cum MD, Luminous Infoways. Then the CEO cum MD and the company’s Director, Ms. Jayashree Mohanty addressed the media’s queries and made public the company’s future plans of expanding its operations to the other states of the country. The company’s commendable role in the implementation of RTI’s Central Monitoring Mechanism in the state was highlighted by Sri Mohanty. Director, Ms. Mohanty reiterated to the audience about the company’s past projects which had won laurels and also about its expertise in the field of health, travel, construction, education, SCM, CRM and hospitality etc. The Chief Guest, Hon’ble Sri Padhi raised concerns over the growing menace of cyber crime and the Chief Speaker, Sri Ghadei again lauded the company’s efforts in developing the RTI’s Central Monitoring Mechanism in the state. Sri Sinha made a note of the company’s role in the implementation of programmes in the information sector in Jharkhand and also its praiseworthy work being the CSP to this state. Among other things, there was a cultural programme by Luminians and award giving ceremony for outstanding performance by Luminians, followed by dinner.
