Online Portal for Odisha Working Journalists Welfare Scheme

The Department of Information & Public Relations Department launches its online portal for “Odisha Working Journalist Welfare Scheme” application for the benefit of Journalists across Odisha. The scheme providing the essential services related to health insurance, financial assistance in the event of the death of a journalist, and gathering hawker information for further schemes by the I&PR Department of Odisha Government. The Scheme covers benefits like; (1) “Gopabandhu Sambadika Swathya Bima Yojana”, (2) “Financial Assistance for Journalist” and (3) “Registration of Newspaper/Magazine Hawkers”.

The system is developed to enables the Journalist to access financial aid quickly and efficiently. The software streamlines the process, ensuring that the necessary documentation and procedures are completed smoothly and the financial support reaches the beneficiaries promptly.
