e-Governance

Electronic governance or e-governance is being adopted by countries across the world. In a fast-growing and demanding economy like India, e-governance has become essential. The rapid growth of digitalisation has led to many governments across the globe to introduce and incorporate technology into governmental processes. The Union Government approved the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) comprising 27 Mission Mode Projects (MMPs) and 8 components on May 18, 2006. In 2011, 4 projects – Health, Education, PDS and Posts – were introduced to make the list of 27 MMPs to 31. Through e-governance, government services are made available to citizens and businesses in a convenient, efficient and transparent manner. Our e-governance projects include drugs licensing, RTI CMM, fund disbursal system, online TT permit all services with GIS integration, online fire services, holding tax management with GIS integration, court case management etc.

e-Governance can take place in four major types of interactions, apart from the processes and interactions in the back-office:

  • Government to Government (G2G)
  • Government to Citizen (G2C)
  • Government to Businesses (G2B)
  • Government to Employees (G2E)
