About the Role

We are looking for experienced Database Developers with 8–10 years of hands-on expertise in database design, development, optimization, and administration. The candidate should have strong knowledge of SQL, database architecture, stored procedures, query optimization, performance tuning, and enterprise database development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain databases for enterprise applications.
  • Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
  • Design efficient database schemas, tables, indexes, and relationships.
  • Perform query optimization and database performance tuning.
  • Analyze and resolve database performance and production issues.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, security, and availability.
  • Work closely with Java/application developers, Business Analysts, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Design and implement database solutions based on application and business requirements.
  • Perform database migration, upgrade, backup, and recovery activities.
  • Monitor database performance and identify potential bottlenecks.
  • Review database code and ensure adherence to development standards.
  • Prepare technical documentation related to database architecture and processes.
  • Support development, testing, staging, and production environments.

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle / PostgreSQL / MySQL.
  • Strong knowledge of PL/SQL or equivalent database programming.

    • Query Optimization

  • Strong understanding of Database Design and Data Modeling.
  • Experience with Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of database backup and recovery concepts.
  • Experience with database migration and data transformation.
  • Good understanding of RDBMS concepts.
  • Familiarity with Git and software development/version-control practices.

Good to Have

  • Experience with PostgreSQL / Oracle Database in large-scale applications.
  • Knowledge of ETL and data integration.
  • Exposure to MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Docker / Kubernetes / Cloud databases.
  • Knowledge of database security, encryption, and access control.
  • Experience working on large-scale Enterprise or Government/e-Governance applications.
  • Exposure to high-availability and database replication.

Educational Qualification

  • B.Tech / B.E. / MCA / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
