The Director of Luminous Infoways, Smt. Jayashree Mohanty has been a part of several Breast Cancer Awareness workshops. Early detection of the disease remains the cornerstone of breast cancer control. Based on the availability of adequate diagnosis and treatment, breast cancer can be cured on early detection. Curative treatment is not an option in the later stages of the disease. In such cases, palliative care is needed to lessen the suffering of patients and their families.
