International Women’s Day is a time to celebrate the achievements and leadership of women who are creating a positive impact in society. On this special occasion, Luminous Infoways proudly celebrates a proud moment as its Co-Founder and President, Smt. Jayashree Mohanty, was honoured with the “Maha Nari Samman” during the Shakti Utsav celebration organized by the World Odisha Society.
The event was held on 6 March 2026 at the Press Club of India, New Delhi, where several inspiring women were recognized for their contributions to society. The award was presented to Jayashree Mohanty in recognition of her leadership in the technology sector and her continuous efforts towards social development and women’s empowerment.

Jayashree Mohanty has been working in the Information Technology industry for more than two decades. As the Co-Founder and President of Luminous Infoways, she has played an important role in building the company into a trusted IT services and product organization working with government departments, enterprises, and institutions, with a strong presence in India as well as global markets.
Under her leadership, the company has achieved important milestones, including CMMI Level 3 certification and the National e-Governance Award. Luminous Infoways has also developed and implemented several impactful digital platforms such as the RTI Central Monitoring Mechanism, VAT Automation System, Panchayati Raj Project Management System (PPMS), E-Blood Banking System, Mamata-MIS System in Odisha, and the ESDM Portal for the Government of India, among others. These initiatives have benefited lakhs of citizens by strengthening the digital monitoring of welfare schemes and helping government departments improve transparency, efficiency, and digital governance.
Apart from her work in technology and entrepreneurship, Jayashree Mohanty has also made a significant contribution to community leadership. She served as the District Governor (2023–24) of Rotary International District 3262, becoming the first woman to hold this position in the district’s history.
Receiving the Maha Nari Samman on the occasion of International Women’s Day is a proud moment for the entire Luminous Infoways family.
